Have you ever wondered what really made America great? Well, buckle up, because we’re about to dive into the fascinating world of Vishal Mangalwadi’s book, “The Book That Made Your World: How the Bible Created the Soul of Western Civilization.”

The Book that Made the World

You might be surprised to learn that in many schools today, students are taught that diversity is what makes America great. But Mangalwadi argues that it was actually the timeless Biblical principles that laid the foundation for our nation. In this book, Mangalwadi takes us on a thrilling journey through history, exploring everything from the West’s obsession with science and technology to the Bible’s profound impact on our social structure and values. We’ll discover how the Bible empowered women to break free from traditional roles and how it’s shaped our understanding of heroism and compassion.

So, join us as we uncover the secrets behind what really made America great. It’s a story that’s sure to inspire and enlighten you.

Glen Leckman

Glen grew up in Cheyenne, Wyoming and graduated from the University of Wyoming with a Bachelor’s degree in Statistics before joining the full-time staff of Cru (formerly Campus Crusade for Christ) and earning his Master’s degree in Biblical Studies. He worked with the sports branch of Cru called Athletes in Action where he met his wife Barbara. Together they moved to South Africa where they helped start the Athletes in Action ministry there. They ministered and lived in South Africa for 15 years before turning the sports ministry over to the South Africans.

When they returned to the USA, they began living in Georgia where they currently minister to university professors in the branch of Cru called Faculty Commons. Glen met former Atlanta RTB president Rod Nave and he has been involved with RTB ever since then. Glen has made several presentations for the RTB group in the past and we're looking forward to his latest presentation.
